Accessibility Statement

At Laurie Anne Art, I’m committed to making this website as accessible and usable as possible for everyone, including people with disabilities.
Current status
This site is built on Shopify using a theme designed with accessibility in mind. It includes foundational features such as keyboard navigation support, semantic markup, and structured page hierarchy. As of May 2026, the site scores 78/100 on Google Lighthouse accessibility testing.
Known limitations
I’m aware of the following issues and am working to address them:
  • Some text appearing over imagery does not meet contrast ratio requirements — an inherent challenge on art-focused sites where photography is central to the experience
  • Some interactive elements, including certain buttons and modal windows, are missing descriptive labels for screen reader users
  • Some touch targets on mobile may be too small or too closely spaced
Some of these limitations are within theme or third-party app code outside my direct control. I’m committed to improving them over time.
The standard I’m working toward
I aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
