Laurie Anne Land: September 2025

Laurie Anne Art February 2025 – Monthly Blog Banner

Happy September!!

Is anyone else a little alarmed at how quickly 2025 is flying by—or is it just me? 😅

Summer always seems to slip through my fingers, but this one felt extra fast. Maybe it’s because for the first time in forever I’ve actually wanted it to slowwwww down. That’s the difference between summer in Oregon and summer in Phoenix—trust me, one makes you want to soak it all in, and the other makes you want to hide inside the AC.

This season has been all about feathering our little Oregon nest, and we’ve finally crossed off some big things: AC (a true luxury here), a dishwasher (life-changing), and our permanent kitchen island (cue the happy dance 💃). These feel like such huge upgrades and the cabin is finally starting to feel like home.

Oh—and I released something pretty major too. Like, literally major. I can now offer framed 40x60” prints ! These oversized beauties make such a statement, and I’m so excited to finally bring them to life.

Keep scrolling to see some of my favorite finds from this past month—I think you’re going to love them too.

What I'm Loving

One of my favorite frames that I have in the cabin and just purchased again to frame a print for a friends birthday!

I picked up a new-to-me cookbook and I’ve been having so much fun trying out the recipes. Nothing like fresh inspiration in the kitchen!

We just installed an under-sink tankless water filter at the cabin (we’re on well water here), and after cleaning out our hot water heater 🤢, I am now fully committed to filtering all my water. I even added a bathtub filter, and now I’m on the hunt for a great shower filter—so if you have a recommendation, send it my way!

I bought this little lamp for our kitchen counter and it’s been the biggest hit—so many compliments for such a small, simple thing.

Did you know Jeni from Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams started a fiber company?! My sampler pack is on its way and I cannot wait to try it. If she makes fiber half as good as she makes ice cream, I’m sold.

Remember when I told you about the social media blocking app I was using? Well… I kept finding sneaky ways around it 🙃. So I upgraded to something called Brick. It’s a little block you physically have to tap your phone against to unlock your apps. Ours lives on the fridge (though I’ve considered tossing it in the van… or maybe even the mailbox 😂). So far, it’s working—turns out I’m lazier than I thought, and that’s a win in this case!

The Summer Collection is leaving!

The Summer Collection is only here through September! If you’ve had your eye on one of these golden, sun-soaked pieces, now’s the time to grab it before it heads to the vault.
