Laurie Anne Land: July 2025

Hello from Oregon!!
We’ve been at the cabin for about three and a half weeks now, and it’s already starting to feel like home. 🥰
Life up here moves slower, feels simpler, and somehow… fuller. Small-town living has me out of the house way more than I ever am in Phoenix (pretty sure I’ve gone out more in the last few weeks than I did in the three months leading up to the move 😅). I’m way more active here and honestly, I love it. We go on long walks every day—either on the beach or just around the neighborhood to get the mail.
Little by little, we’re getting settled. The living room and our bedroom are the most "done," but there’s still a good bit left on our to-do list. Next up: designing our kitchen island so we have somewhere to eat and a space for me to paint. Kitchen Studio 2.0 is officially in the works!
The weather has been pure magic: chilly mornings, sunny afternoons, and crisp evenings where we leave the windows open and fall asleep to the sound of the river. Taylor carved a new path down to a calm stretch of water behind the cabin, and we’re so excited to make it easier to dip in this summer.
And Oscar? He’s thriving. Running wild on the beach, making new dog friends in the neighborhood, and living out his off-leash dreams. 🐶
Spending time here always sparks inspiration—the foggy forests, winding rivers, and rocky coastlines just never get old. I pulled together some of my favorite pieces into a PNW Art Print Collection if you want to bring a little of that magic into your space too.
And if you’re curious about what’s making life at the cabin extra cozy and functional, I rounded up all my favorite finds—from furniture to puzzles and practical things I use every day. 👇 Scroll on for the full list!
What I'm Loving

We finally got nightstands!! Not only are they beautiful and very well made—they are super affordable!
The cabin is small so we decided to make the most of our seating and got this giant sofa. It's beautiful, comfy and super stain resistant which is a must with Oscar!
If you walked into the cabin, you would find me by the window in one of our swivel chairs. I am writing this from one right now haha. They are SO comfy and very lovely.
We LOVE our bed. It's super cute, easy to put together and sturdy. Bonus: it was super affordable!
We love to puzzle over here. We put on a tv show and zone out putting my puzzles together. We upped our puzzle game at the cabin and got this awesome puzzle board so we can puzzle but slide it under the sofa when we need a break to keep it out of Oskie's reach! If you are a puzzle person, highly recommend!
Taylor specifically asked me to include his favorite sponge in this post. 🤣 We don't have a dishwasher (yet) and he has been doing a lot of dishes and loves this thing.
I have a smaller one of these in PHX but got this one for the cabin and it's been a game changer for getting hard to reach items out of our cabinets and pantry! The best part— it's super lightweight!!
Speaking of lightweight. I bought this $33 vacuum when we came up to the cabin this past winter it has been such a great little vacuum. I don't know how it will do on carpet but for hard floors, it is awesome. However, I do need to be able to vacuum rugs, so I just ordered this one that was recommended by a bunch of my IG peeps!

A Favorite Follow: Kind Goods
Kind Goods is a very cute retail shop located in Maynard, Massachusetts. I always enjoy Michelle's posts and stories. Her feed is full of beautiful things she sells in the shop and the most beautiful food. Kind Goods is a bright and positive spot on the internet. If you are in Maynard, stop in and say hello!

Framed and Ready to Hang
Ever since we launched my framed prints they have quickly become our most popular print option! The prints arrive fully framed with the hanging hardware already attached, ready to hang on your wall. They are framed in the most beautiful wood floater frame. I highly recommend this option— you wont be dissapointed!
